A DOG APPEARS

A research I started in Norwegian Theatre Academy was working with embodied transformations. In this piece Im becoming a dog and exploring the world as a dog. This work promises a radical performance art approach to sexuality and feminist critiques of audience relations. This action of becoming dog through the nude body raise a lot of anxieties, political questions and challenges for the public space. It use classic techniques of border-crossing to question what we really mean by critique of power, without letting us rest in a comfortable definition of normativity, sexual or artistic.
